Use a firm license
A law firm may sell, discount, or provide a license from its own inventory.
Payment never grants case access.
A gift purchaser receives the purchase receipt and activation status, not your case content.
A law firm receives access only after the case-specific connection and professional relationship are confirmed.
If you change lawyers, the active license remains attached to your case rather than becoming reusable firm inventory.
You decide when a firm connects.
A connected attorney and authorized staff can work with the information you share for that matter. DivFolio professional access is not a public profile lookup and does not open your unrelated records.
A firm may also sponsor collaboration tools such as secure messaging and shared calendars. If that firm service later changes, your existing record remains subject to the applicable access, export, and retention rules.

DivFolio is the seller and issues the receipt.
Firm purchase
The law firm is the seller to you and sets its own disclosed retail price. DivFolio does not receive a percentage of that price or of legal fees.
Gift purchase
The purchaser receives a payment receipt. You receive the private account and case entitlement after accepting the gift.
